Nyons Rhône-Alpes
 |
 |
 |
|
Nyons is a town in the Drôme
department of the Rhône-Alpes. It is a medieval fortified
market town, with narrow winding streets. In the old quarter
,Les Forts, you will find a listed Romanesque bridge
and its unique arched passage way, 43 metres long. The town lies
in the sun-blessed southeast of France, just above Provence,
the olive producing capital of the country. Nyons is blessed
with all of the natural ingredients of the south - olive trees,
the aromatic herbs of lavender, thyme and basil, the precious
and rare black truffles, asparagus, delicious honey and locally
made goats cheese. |
