Guise is a small town in the Aisne
department in Picardie in northern France. It lies about 24 kms
northwest of Vervins. The ruins of the medieval castle of Guise,
seat of the Dukes of Guise, are located in the town. Guise is
the agricultural centre of the northern area of Aisne. |
