- Our holiday gites provide an
excellent place to take your Normandy based holiday break situated
in a small village, and yet be only a short distance from the
sea.
- In fact the coast with its
wide fine sandy beaches is just 5 minutes away.

- There is a village shop with
bar only a short walk away from your holiday home, fish and oysters
can be purchased just round the corner and the boucherie/charcuterie
is next door to us opposite the library.

- St Germain sur Ay is approximately
4 miles from the small town of Lessay and 5 miles from the market
town of La Haye du Puits.

- L'Huître
- sleeps 4 in two bedrooms (one double, one twin)

- Originally the old cart shed
and barn L'Huître is entered from the main enclosed gravel
courtyard.
- This recently refurbished gîte
has very spacious accommodation for up to four people, and comprises
of the following:-

- The pine staircase to the first
floor leads up from the hallway.

- Lounge: the large lounge diner contains table and chairs
for four persons as well as a leather sofa and armchairs.
- There is a wood burning stove
for use in winter and the door to the small garden also leads
out from the lounge.

- Outside in the garden will
be found a patio, complete with pergola offering shade, and table
and chairs.

- Kitchen: The separate galley kitchen may be accessed from
both the lounge diner and the hall way.
- It comes complete with a new
gas cooker, fridge, washing machine and pots and pans together
with cutlery and crockery.
- There is a double bowl sink
unit; and an iron with ironing board are also provided.
- Situated over the cooker is
an extractor hood, with light, which vents to the outside.

- On the opposite side of the
kitchen there is a work surface with cupboards above.

- Outside in the garden will
be found a patio, complete with pergola offering shade, and table
and chairs.

- Bedrooms
- Up the stairs from the hall
will be found a small landing off which is the bedroom accommodation,
shower room and separate toilet

- The two spacious bedrooms can
each sleep two people (one contains a double bed the other two
single beds), and there is a built-in wardrobe in each.

- An alarm-clock radio and hair-dryer
are provided plus duvets and pillows; extra blankets are available
on request.

- Other Items: Please note that
all rooms have electric radiators.

- There are a number of board
games, cards and books provided, plus a radio with CD player,
in the lounge together with a small T.V. - English stations only.

- Ample off road parking.

- Please bring your own towels.

- Les Hirondelles
sleeps 5 in one double, one twin and a single bedroom

- With its close proximity to
the courtyard entrance and as Les Hirondelles lacks a private
garden we consider it to be unsuitable for small children.

- This three bedroom gîte
was once the stable and grocer's shop and now provides accommodation
for up to five people in one double, one twin and a single bedroom.

- Refurbishment of the gîte
is almost complete and the it will be available from June 2005.

- The accommodation is as follows:-
On the ground floor:
Kitchen.
You enter the gîte via the large galley kitchen, which
is fitted with a new cooker and refrigerator, and sink - together
with new storage units.

- There is a store-room off the
kitchen which also provides space for coats and shoes etc.
- To the left of the Kitchen
is the Dining room, and on the right, through an arched doorway,
the Lounge.

- The dining
room is equipped with a large table capable
of seating 8 people
-
- The large lounge contains a side-board, sofa and armchairs, TV with
English channels and radio/cd player.
- Various books and board games
are also supplied.

- Off the lounge, and approached
through another arched doorway will be found the Bathroom which
contains a full sized shower cubicle, a wash basin and toilet.

- bedrooms
- There is a large double bedroom,
a good sized twin and a single bedroom.
- All bedrooms have ample storage
space and are equipped with electric heaters.
A clock radio and a hair dryer are also provided in the main
bedroom.
Also on this floor is a wc. with a small wash-basin.
There is off road parking
An ironing board and iron are provided, as is a front-loading
washing machine.
