Bort-les-Orgues is a town in the Corrèze
department in Limousin, central France. Bort-les-Orgues is situated
on the Dordogne River. The town takes is name from "Les
Orgues", an organ-shaped old volcano at the foot of which
it lies. A tourist feature worth exploring in the town is the
medieval Château de Val, emerging from the side of a lake
created by a high dam built on the river. |
